170. THREE ACTIONS IN NEW YORK
1. READING ON THE EDGE OF THE WHITE FIELD
On the wall of the studio space, a 46-minute montage from the video of CAs' 1989 action #53 "For I. Makarevich" (Meteorite Music) was shown. On the floor below the video projection, in the shape of a rectangle, were laid out A4-sized printout pages from the CA group's TOT ("Trips Out of Town") volumes, with the blank (white) side up. The two fields - the snowy field on the video and the paper field on the floor were touching each other.
During the video projection, participants read out in English the texts they had selected from the group's documentary volumes. The readers stood in a row on the right side of the white paper field (like a choir) wearing white robes.
After the reading was over, participants and spectators were invited to approach the sheets of paper spread out on the floor. They were asked to take one sheet of paper each, and walk with it to S. Hänsgen, who was sitting at a table near the exit. On behalf of the CA group, she signed the paper with the abbreviation "CAG" (Collective Actions Group) and the date of the action before giving back the sheets.

3. AT PIER 34. Philosophy of the Ocean
Plan of the Action:
Terms from CA aesthetics (appearance, removal, disappearance, indistinguishability, exposition/demonstration sign fields, empty action, etc.) are placed on A3 sized sheets of white paper, each in two copies. During the action, the group of Hunter Seminar participants begins to move along Pier 34 away from the shore, distributing the terms in the following order: each term is placed under a bench, that is, under the feet of the person sitting on that bench, and the copy with the same term is attached to the railing opposite the bench. Thus, the participant of the action, sitting on the bench and putting his feet on the sheet with the term, can contemplate on the second sheet with a copy of the same term in front of him. This is done on all benches with different terms, and on each bench, one of the participants sits down for a few seconds.
On the way back, free behavior of the participants on the pier is intended (different gestures, discussions, reflection, performances, etc.) At the end of the pier, a common photo is taken of the group of participants before their return to the shore.
The action was realized in a freer mode of behavior of the participants both to and back from the other side of the pier. Terms from the Dictionary of Terms of the Moscow Conceptual School were added at the participants' request: white cat, u-topos, whiteness of the paper or of the painting, kolobok + "invisible" to the participants of the action the term "Livingstone in Africa" at the level of this descriptive text.
