On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the CA group (March 13, 1976, Action No. 1: APPEARANCE), the following letter was sent to the participants and audience members who took part in CA actions:

 

Dear friends! We are sending you the file for the commemorative poster marking the 50th anniversary of the CA group in German, and we ask that you print it out in A4 size and hang it on March 13 of this year wherever you like (at home or outdoors) so that it remains on display until April 2, 2026 (the date of the action No. 2 LIEBLICH – April 2, 1976).

 

In English, the text on the poster reads as follows: Organizing an event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first action APPEARANCE by the Collective Actions Group is not existential.

The participants received an invitation to come at 3pm to a spot at the coordinates 48°49'55.2"N 2°26'01.9"E, which is located approximately in the middle of an open space called the Royal Alley (Allée Royale) in the Bois de Vincennes to the east of Paris. Upon arrival, each participant received a cut strip of paper on which was printed a phrase proposed by A. Monastyrski: "Organiser un événement en l'honneur du 50e anniversaire de la première action KD L'APPARITION n'est pas existentiel." ("Organizing an event in honor of the 50th anniversary of the first KD action THE APPEARANCE is not existential.")
