unnumbered THE TWINS
The invited viewers were brought by three participants to a field and positioned in 50 meters’ distance from a forest. Then two participants moved away from the audience and relocated 200 meters to the left. At the same time the third participant moved to the same distance to the right. Then one of the two men on the left side (let him be called “the first man”) disappeared in the woods. The second one on the left advanced 20 meters towards the audience.
In 5 minutes 20 seconds (after traveling 400 meters to the right through the forest, invisible to the audience) the first participant went out of the forest on the right and stopped some 5 meters away from the third man. They both moved another 20 meters towards the audience, parallel to each other and line of the forest, and the first man disappeared between the trees again. The third participant advanced 20 meters along the forest towards the viewers.
In 4 minutes 50 seconds (after traveling 360 meters leftwards through the woods) the first participant appeared on the audience’s left and, after repeating the original movement with the second man, disappeared in the woods. The second participant advanced 20 meters along the forest towards the viewers.
In 4 minutes 20 seconds (320 meters rightwards) the first participant appeared on the audience’s right and, after repeating the original movement with the second man, disappeared in the woods. The third participant advanced 20 meters along the forest towards the viewers.
In 3 minutes 50 seconds (280 meters leftwards) the first participant appeared on the audience’s left and, after repeating the movement with the second man, disappeared in the woods. The second participant advanced 20 meters.
In 3 minutes 20 seconds (240 meters rightwards) the first participant appeared on the audience’s right and, after repeating the movement with the second man, disappeared in the woods. The second participant advanced 20 meters.
In 2 minutes 50 seconds (200 meters leftwards) the first participant appeared on the audience’s left, repeated the movement and disappeared in the woods.
In 1 minute 00 seconds (160 meters rightwards) the first participant appeared on the right and disappeared in the woods again. The third advanced 20 meters.
In 1 minute 50 seconds (150 meters leftwards) the first participant stopped and waited for the second one to approach him. Then both of them entered the forest simultaneously with the third man who was 80 meters away form them to the right.
After all three had disappeared, the first man came out of the forest at the audience’s right, 80 meters away from the location where he had entered the forest. Thus, he appeared where the third participant had entered.
Following the first man at 8 meters’ distance, the fourth participant appeared from the forest, where he had been sitting before the audience’s arrival and in course of action.
Then he distributed copies of this text among the viewers.
