122. К - 2

A large photograph of a stele at the grave of S. Pod”iachev from the photodocumentation of the action K was placed into the space of German Titov’s exhibition “Synchronizations.” The empty oval on the stele (which had once contained the portrait of Pod”iachev) and the artificial pink flowers at its feet corresponded to the oval portraits of Soviet authors (17 in total) in Titov’s works and the decorative paper “flowers” in the corners of these portraits.

At the exhibition’s opening, AM made a video recording of G. Titov’s story about the “Role of mushrooms in particularly heavy significatory spaces of MKSh,” which can be found at the following address: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_r03IgUzLo

The following day, a group of the action’s participants went to the columbarium of the Donskoi cemetery, where a “Presentation Kruchenykh” was undertaken at his columbarium niche (columbarium #20, section 40, lower row): in the snow at the foot of the plate with the poet’s oval portrait was placed a figure of a fantastical “dog-piggybank” with a cardboard containing the text of A. Kruchenykh’s poem “Dyr byl shchil” (1913) was stuck into the coin slot: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Po3VAKSo3g

After materials from the action were placed on Letov's site, the action's title (in the description of the action) became a link to material about the mountain K2.
