150. FARMER
In the forest between the Heidegger and the Nina Hagen clearings a black and white portrait of P.J. Farmer on white canvas with the dimensions 150 x 207 cm was hung between two birch trees at the height of 6 metres using a ladder. At the same height on a branch of a neighbouring tree a red speaker was affixed, which contained the recording of the round table discussion (in English) “Robotics, Telepresence and Artificial Intelligence” in Nieuwe Kerk in Amsterdam with the participation of the Dalai Lama (September 2018). The portrait and the speaker were left behind at the place of action.* As factography the participants received small colour portraits of Farmer (5,5 x 6,5 cm).

*After using the ladder for hanging Farmer’s portrait, it was carried through the forest to the place of CA’s “Library”, 550 metres to the north, where it was left in the form of a stepladder above a small pit, where in 1997 a clock was buried during the action “Library” and where a metal tortoise was buried between 2005 and 2012. The ladder was left there with a label attached to it, which was a laminated 13 x 18 cm photograph of the same ladder at CA’s action “Market Stalls” (2011) with a collaged fragment from AM’s “Atlas” from 1975 and the title of this Bochum action with the ladder in French: Escalier Stendahl pour Marcel Duchamp.
