154. GOLDEN LINES IN KALISTOVO (To А. Malyshkin)
А. Malyshkin was offered to draw golden lines on a photo (39x52 cm, on a flatboard) with a view of the Vorya River from the high bank of the Peschanka River in Kalistovo (the photo was taken in 2005; the figure of Bodhidharma from the painting by Sesshu Toyo, 1496, was collaged into the lower left corner of the photo). After that he had to choose between two photos (flatboards), which of them - according to the plot of the action - he would throw down the cliff into the river: whether he would choose his own flatboard with the golden lines he had made on it or choose to throw down into the river a pre- photoboard made by AM with the same photo but a different set of golden lines. He chose the tablet with gold lines on the photo made by himself and threw it into the Vorya River. The board with AM's golden lines in the "Box for Aesthetic Practice and Metaphysical Manipulations in the Forest" was given to Malyshkin as a factograph of the action.
