174. PAPERS AND STICKERS

On AM’s 74th birthday, G. Titov, Ethan Bien and AM met near the Sokolniki metro station and took a photo of themselves on the site of the former Stroynka Construction Site (these photographs are a continuing factual record of the “Three Portraits” action in Shchutsky’s forest, its “empty action”). Then we took tram number 25 to the Shchutsky forest and came to the site of the “Three Portraits” action. All objects of the action were in place, except for the recently added photograph of the group Tangerine Dream (see the “Mondrian” action, section 2), which was lying under a tree on the ground. G. Titov picked up the photograph from the ground and fixed it on a different tree (the laminated paper 4x4 cm with the qr-code of the video “Supplements to the action Three portraits" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPkDj_dse68 - had disappeared).
Then we walked along the Shchutsky forest to the northeast, where we had carried out the action READING-2023 “Journey for the Oboe.” The laminated A3 sheet with the text “Journey for the Oboe”, which had been left on a branch at the site of the action on October 2, 2023, was missing. On the tree next to this branch, we attached a 4x4 cm laminate with the qr-code to the video of the action “READING-2023”, and there, through a smartphone scan, fragments of the video were shown to Ethan Bien, who had not been present at the action “READING-2023”, and knew nothing about its plot.
Then from the Shchutsky forest we moved to the Yauza river and followed the upper road of the Along Yauza route to the west to the power line clearing. We turned north onto the clearing and reached the path crossing it from west to east, turned onto it, walked several tens of meters to two trees (yellow and blue pins were installed on them during the MONDRIAN action, designating these two trees as “gates”, leading to a small path from north to south. Following this path south into the depths of the forest of Losiny Ostrov, we discovered that a piece of paper with a reproduction of a Mondrian painting and a portrait of the runner Melville Whitfield was still hanging on the tree where we had pinned it during the “MONDRIAN” action on August 6, 2023. AM took the piece of paper, cut it in two with scissors, and by lot the image of Mondrian’s painting went to G. Titov, and the portrait of Whitfield - to Ethan Bien. The action walk along the Losiny Ostrov we've finished on the Square of Academic Lyulka in the Tanuki restaurant.
We received a special impression on this action walk around the Losiny Ostrov from the brightly colored carpet of a great variety of crimson autumn leaves covering all the paths of our journey.​
