176. BOX – 1 (for the website)

“On the way from the Izmaylovskaya metro station to the center of Izmaylovo Field (where the second exhibition of nonconformist artists took place in 1974, following the Bulldozer Exhibition, and the first two actions by the Collective Actions Group (CAG), 'Appearance' and 'Lieblich,' were held in 1976), a soundtrack from the video 'Unique Hut in the Forest' by travel blogger ABVGAT of January 24, 2023, played through a speaker in the pocket of Andrei Monastyrski's jacket. To the sounds of this recording, a cardboard box measuring 60x50x40 cm was assembled and installed in the snow at the center of the snowy field. At the bottom of the box, a 4 cm x 4 cm laminate was placed in the center, featuring a QR code linked to the video of the action 'Monument (Haydn in Winter)', which took place at the same spot in Izmaylovo on December 26, 2022. After the box was set up, spectators and participants got factographic materials of the performance in the form of plastic caps from water, kefir, Activia and other drinks with QR codes of manufacturers attached to them (three caps for each person). The box was left at the scene”.

In this form, the action plan was not realize in the field (‘en plein air’); the box was assembled at home and filmed for the CAG website, along with this descriptive text-plan and accompanying text titled ‘On the Zone of Indistinguishability in the Three Performance by the Collective Actions Group’ by Andrei Monastyrski.
