136. THE TRANSFER OF THE ICON TO PANITKOV

N. Panitkov did not know the action plan.

In a small grove next to the VDNKh metro station (not far from the fairground ride “Dinosaur Park”), an icon of the Savior Not Made By Hands (purchased in the underground passage of the south exit of the VDNKh metro station, and in a complicated hand-made icon setting with a glazed case) was hung up on a tree. On a neighboring tree, facing the icon at a distance of 3 meters, was hung a large flashlight illuminating the icon. The assembled audience members were invited to wait 15-20 minutes. When Panitkov appeared, he was presented with the icon, which had been removed from the tree, while the viewers (10 out of the 13) were given souvenir mirrors inside round metal cases with an image of the first artificial satellite of the Earth (from 1957) on the top cover, purchased at the museum of cosmonautics next to the VDNKh metro, and whose bottom mirrors contained a thin film on which the title of the action had been written in 8-point font.
